May 26, 2002 Memorial Day Weekend. Started out a bit overcast but improved throughout the day.
The "California" Our State's Tall Ship leaves the harbor with us
Spotted this strange creature on the way out to Santa Cruz
It was about 8' long, and 4' wide. A lethargic animal indeed. Called a Sunfish
The old "lookout" hut above Prisoner's pier
Lots of boats out here this weekend. Seldom as many as today.
The pier at Prisoner's. Lots of work going on on it, new railing, and a Dingy ramp are being added.
Cruised around the bend to Pelican. Was equally as crowded.
Seems everyone one was out here today! A Seal colony enjoys the Sunshine at a cove in Chinese Harbor
