Great day! Great company too! Was mostly sunny, but had a few fog patches to liven things up a bit
"According to the Radar we should be getting close to the Island now"
We arrive at Pelican Harbor, a favorite place. Find it calm, warm, and almost empty. Only three vessels here today
Manuel and Marilyn are coping with the stress well
Delores appears to be handling the situation well too!
Here they are! "The dirty half dozen" Dennis, Delores, John, Marilyn, Kit, and Manuel (you can barely see Jim behind the camera)
Marilyn "chills" for a few
Another "rare" photo of the famous Arch rock at Anacapa Island
The Breakwall entrance to our Harbor, Anacapa Island can be seen in the distance
The South Jetty, replete with Daymarker and Foghorn
The North Jetty stands guard
Silver Strand Beachfront, just to starboard of the Harbor entrance
A few Pelicans hanging out in the back Harbor
So good to see these birds. 20 years ago they were near extinction here
OK, what's this in the water?
Appears to be a gathering of sorts
Some "people" just know how to have fun! These seals are waving like the Queen as we idle past them Was a great day, can't wait till next time
